TB Alliance

The Global Alliance for TB Drug Development (TB Alliance) was formally launched in October 2000 and acts as a not-for-profit, product development partnership accelerating the discovery and development of new TB drugs that will shorten treatment, be effective against susceptible and resistant strains, be compatible with antiretroviral therapies for those HIV-TB patients currently on such therapies, and improve treatment of latent infection. The TB Alliance is committed to ensuring that approved new drug regiments are affordable, widely adopted and available to those who need them.

TBD-UK are working in partnership with TB Alliance on the REMox TB clinical trials and also on the development of the 2-aminothiazolecarboxylates (ATC) compounds. Further information about the TB Alliance can be found on their website.
